Antique Double Sink with Slate Splashback

Object Description

An antique double sink with a slate splashback and cast iron stand. This is quite the unusual piece with a combination of materials and styles to form an expertly cast sink of quality stature, making it a striking decorative or functional addition to period and contemporary bathrooms alike.

The double basin and black slate splash back is elevated by an elaborately cast iron base painted in white.

It is supplied with modern traditional style nickel plated taps as pictured.

The height from the floor to the counter is 76.5cm. The overall height is from the floor to the top of the splash back.

Object Condition

Good structural condition. Splash back included. Few natural imperfections. Minor rust showing in places – it would benefit from being painted. Fitted with plastic waste, plug waste and chains. Both basins show wear to glaze. Slight hairline to inside of right basin. Shown with modern nickel plated taps, which are included if required.
