Object Description

A good example of an early 19th century ash stool of sturdy proportions, having a well grained top with a chamfered under edge, that is raised on four tall octagonal swept legs of pleasing proportions. The underside must have been used as a chopping block, possibly for chopping fire lights. It has a good colour and excellent patination.
