Object Description
Victorian Colombian emerald and diamond carved three stone ring. Set to centre with an octagonal step-cut Colombian Muzo emerald with no colour enhancement and insignificant clarity enhancement in an open back triple claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.90 carats, flanked by two drop shape old cut diamonds in open back claw and rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 2.20 carats, further set with six round rose cut diamond points in closed back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.06 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.26 carats, all to an impressive carved three stone design featuring stylised claw detail, an intricately carved gallery with scrolling motifs and open and closed backholing, leading to trumpeting carved shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank.
