This Edwardian oak revolving desk chair and mechanism are in excellent original condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the chair frame and seat but nothing significant considering the age of the item. All chair joints have been glued and tightened.
The chair features a rich brown oak colour, having been French polished, by hand, to a professional standard, in our workshop. The seat is solid and features lovely oak grain configuration. The original reclining and adjustable height mechanism are in good working order. There is some play to the mechanism but this is perfectly acceptable, and in line with the age of the chair.
