The chest boasts decorative ribbon shaped satinwood inlay to the canted corners, along with further decorative inlay to the plinth. The chest stands on the original well shaped original mahogany bracket feet, which is also decorated with satinwood string inlay. The back of the chest retains the original pine back boards. This item stands firm on the ground, is solid in joint and ready to use.
