This is a good quality antique Victorian Arts & Crafts oak table, with a round top sitting on three legs, in the manner of Liberty & Co., circa 1890, in good original condition. The design of this table was inspired by earlier Georgian and Victorian “cricket” tables. The oak table is constructed from good quality solid oak, with a two-plank top supported by three protruding bar-shape pierced legs, decorated with heart shaped carvings at the feet, united by a lower supporting shelf. The Arts & Crafts oak table has been cleaned and wax-polished by hand, to a professional standard in our workshop. Ideal as an occasional or lamp table.

This Arts & Crafts oak table would look superb in the bedroom as a bedside table or in the living room as a lamp table. The round oak table would grace either a traditional or contemporary setting and is a great investment as it is extremely practical. The Arts and Crafts movement was an international trend in the decorative and fine arts that developed earliest and most fully in the British Isles and subsequently spread across the British Empire and to the rest of Europe and America. Condition Report:
This is a good quality antique Victorian Arts & Crafts oak table, with a round top sitting on three legs, in the manner of Liberty & Co., circa 1890, in good original condition. The Arts & Crafts oak table has been cleaned and wax-polished by hand, to a professional standard in our workshop. Slight undulation to the original top. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the oak table but nothing significant considering the age of the item. There are no breaks to the legs or frame. The oak table is solid in joint with no loose joints, and is ready to use.

Delivery times are usually 1-4 weeks depending on location; we aim to deliver the majority of items within 2 weeks. All items are professionally packaged and fully insured in transit; therefore, we can assure you, your items will be securely protected in transit and arrive safely with you.

For any large items that require 2 people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with lifting the item.

Free 14 Days UK Returns & Refunds:
A free 14-day “no quibble” returns policy (from the date you receive the item) is available if you are not happy with this item. We will collect the item free of charge from you (we do not charge a return fee / collection fee). You will be given a full refund as long as the item is returned in the same condition. We will collect returns using our own specialist furniture delivery company. We will not accept returns via a courier service (due to experience of damaged items in transit). This refund policy only applies to deliveries to the UK.

Object Condition

This is a superb quality and rare antique English Edwardian mahogany Bergère suite, constructed in the style of the Chippendale period, comprising of three pieces, with a solid mahogany and canework frame, circa 1910, in excellent condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges but nothing significant considering its age. Importantly, the cane work is in excellent original condition with no damage or holes. The frame is also solid with no breaks to the arms or back of the suite. The English antique mahogany Bergère suite frame boasts a rich mahogany colour, having been cleaned and French polished by hand, to a professional standard, in our workshop. The Chippendale style Bergère suite has been newly upholstered to a professional standard, in a top quality pale grey linen look upholstery and incorporates new cushions all round. Therefore, the upholstery is in new and clean condition. The seats have been re-webbed and re-sprung, to ensure the seats are firm but extremely comfortable to sit on. This mahogany Bergère suite is solid in joint and ready to use.
