This is an exquisite and rare antique English silver plated entree dish, bearing the cross arrow mark of William Hutton & Sons, circa 1850 in date.

The entree dish features a rectangular shape with elegant beaded decoration to the dish, lid and handle.

In excellent condition, this wonderful entree dish is ready to grace your dining table.

Creswick & Co – formerly TJ & N Creswick of Sheffield. The “arrows” trademark was first registered in 1811 for Old Sheffield Plate production. The cross arrows trademark was later acquired by William Hutton & Sons in 1902. Electroplating began in 1852. The firm became Creswick & Co in 1855.
