A lovely antique Erivan rug woven in the Caucasus which is in very good condition with great pile. Erivans are one of our favourite tribal Caucasian weavings, easily recognisable by their unique palette of varying indigo dyes, always using this wonderful petrol blue colour alongside an orangey madder dye. The wool used in Erivans is also always very lovely and soft, a really exquisite late 19th century caucasian rug.
