Object Description
A quality antique burr walnut side cabinet on cabriole legs, circa 1900-1910.
Having a rectangular bookmatch veneered figured walnut top with a herringbone inlay enclosed by a crossbanded border and moulded edge over two fully oak lined handcut dovetailed drawers.
Each drawer has a herringbone inlaid edge with brass Dutch drop handles above two figured walnut veneered panelled doors with a crossbanded edge and herringbone inlay. The doors are flanked by canted corners and open to reveal a handy storage space.
Raised on a shaped apron and cabriole legs with a shell on the knee this antique side cabinet has been fully restored using traditional methods having a wonderful warm honey colour with striking veneers.
