Object Description
A heavy, strong and substantially constructed pitch pine exterior door originating from mid 19th century France. A character feature for any home, this antique door has a rustic look about it, designed with vertical planks to the front with a beautiful warm wood colour and distinctive grain, and horizontal plank construction to the reverse. Historic hardware is present throughout including original door bolts, an old iron door pull and parts of its original strap hinges! You can just imagine this character door at the entrance to a cosy cottage, leading to a farmhouse kitchen, or as a character feature in a beautifully restored barn conversion.
