Object Description

Antique French Silkwork Embroidery Picture of an Angel. Framed in an old, gilded, gesso frame with rippled, old glass. The embroidery is worked in silk on a silk ground. Colours browns, cream, green, blues and grey. Subject is an Angel with a feather stood amongst the trees.

Object Condition

Generally Good. A few small holes. A few pale stains. Frame showing slight wear, otherwise sound.
