Object Description
Rare painted three door breakfront secretaire wardrobe by ‘George Henry Walton’ (1867 – 1933). The top with architectural pediment surmounted by a brass finial, in the centre there’s a large leather glass panel door with a convex glass in the centre. Beneath this a large secretaire drawer with shaped cut-out and recessed copper back plates, with five further full-length graduating drawers beneath. The two side doors with two panels of leather glass at the top rectangular and geometric panels at the bottom open to un-interrupted interior, the whole piece stands on an ogee shaped enclosed plinth.
