Object Description
This is an elegant antique George III Regency mahogany dining table, dating from Circa 1780 and a set of ten Hepplewhite Revival dining chairs.
The table features attractive demilune ends, has one additional leaf and is raised on twin “cannon barrel” turned column bases each raised on quadruple outswept sabre legs bases which are fitted with brass caps and castors.
The table top is of beautiful mahogany and there is no mistaking the fine craftsmanship of this handsome dining table which is certain to become a treasured addition to your furniture collection, and a talking point with guests at meal times.
The set of chairs comprises ten side chairs, the oval backs with shaped and pierced sun rondal and feature beautiful hand carved bow and leaf decoration. The drop in seats seats have just been reupholstered in a sumptuous teal damask. They are raised on elegant square tapering legs that terminate in spade feet..
Condition:
In excellent condition having been beautifully cleaned, polished waxed and the chairs reupholstered in our workshops, please see photos for confirmation.
