Object Description
A splendid quality later embellished sterling silver baluster tankard and cover decorated with elegant floral embossing which is the set on a matt background for contrast. The centre front of the body has a stylish cartouche in which sits a hand engraved contemporary inscription. The hinged domed lid has additional embossing and is mounted with an elegant ‘chair’ back wire work thumbpiece.
