Object Description
An antique George V sterling silver bread basket/dish which has an oval shaped body with a wavy edged top rim, pierced decoration to the body and resting on a flat base. There is a butterfly motif at either end of the body which is a rather interesting feature of this silver bread basket/dish. It would look decorative on the table and would be practical to use. The hallmark is clear but the maker’s mark has been rubbed over the years.
