Object Description
An attractive antique George V sterling silver egg cruet which has a plain oval shaped body with curved ends and shell detailing, a central handle for carrying purposes and resting on four simple feet. There is a silver gallery designed to house the four silver egg cups and sections at the top to hold the silver egg spoons. This silver egg cruet would be practical to use and remains in excellent condition. It is rare to have the original spoons, These spoons are dated for 1917 and the cruet stand is dated for 1918 but were made by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co.
