Object Description
An elegant antique George V sterling silver syphon (wine bottle) stand which is round in shape with a tall body, a wavy edged top border, two plain side handles and resting on a raised circular solid silver base. The lower part of this wine bottle holder is plain and the upper half has attractive pierced detailing with urn shape decoration. It would display a bottle of wine comfortably and would look appealing on the table. It remains in excellent condition.
