Object Description
A superb German porcelain ormolu mounted vase, possibly Meissen, Circa 1850 in date.
It has ormolu masque handles with a pierced rim and lid, the lid with an acorn finial. The navy blue body skillfully hand painted with playful cherubs and raised on a circular laurel stem standing on a square plinth ormolu base.
The craftsmanship is second to none throughout all aspects of this piece and it is sure to add elegance wherever placed.
