Object Description
A good quality antique silver cup of tapering form and plain style. Simple shape with concentric ribbed detail to top. Original pale gilt interior and minor gilt traces to the top of the body. The base has an inscription in old fashioned script dated 1701. Contains 150 ml. Weight 79 grams, 2,5 troy ounces. Height 6.4 cms. Diameter of top 6.4. Marked underneath with German silver marks for Cologne, maker “PL*”. Circa 1700.
