Antique gilt bronze and porcelain mounted dressing and writing cabinet

This elegant cabinet functions as both a vanity and a writing table. The cabinet features a rectangular upper section finished with fine veneered wood. Each side of the top is centred with an oval porcelain plaque portraying flowers, while the corners feature gilt bronze figure mounts. The top of the cabinet hinges to reveal a mirror, while the front drops to function as a writing surface. The interior features various drawers and compartments. The cabinet is raised on four cabriole legs, each adorned to the shoulder and the foot with a gilt bronze mount.
