With silvered scale, stamped mark and New Eltham, London, with Certificate from National Physical Laboratory and original case

was a London based manufacturer of high quality navigational sextants, especially popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The company is known for its “Hezzanith” trademark and was later incorporated into W.F. Stanley & Co. Ltd. around 1936-1937.
