Object Description
Circa 1815 and later, unusual inlaid mahogany cabinet bookcase. With a moulded, Greek key cornice with inlaid designs over a central glazed door with oval astragals and shelving inside. The doors to the sides with brass mesh facing over shelves of faux books, opening to an uninterrupted space. The base with various drawers (real and imitation) with inlaid panels and cross-banding, alongside cupboards with unusual bespoke features including military cast brass handles and shaped shelves. With a simple apron, standing on bracket feet.
