Depicting a Kylin (Dragon) on cash.
The Kylin refers to the Qilin, a mythical Chinese creature with the appearance of a horse and a Dragon, it is also knowing as the Chinese Unicorn and is a symbol of good luck, prosperity and benevolence. The Qilin is said to appear in conjunction with the arrival of a Sage or virtuous ruler.
The Cash or Qian was a type of coin of China and the Sinosphere, used from the 4th century B.C.E
In summary the Kylins presence on cash reflects its significance as a symbol of good fortune and wealth within Chinese cultures.
