Object Description
This large antique silver menorah features a central column with fine detailing using the repousse technique, surmounted by an eagle finial which is able to convert to the shammash, the ninth candle holder. A removable silver oil jug sits below, which can be attached and taken off using a small bracket. Eight other repousse silver candle holders are held by layers of scrolling branches attached to the central column. The menorah is set on a semi-spherical base on four silver paw feet. This antique menorah would make a fine gift for the Jewish festival of Hannukah.
