Antique Karabagh rugs are much sought after by collectors and designers as they represent one of the oldest and most varied styles of any Caucasian rug. They are perhaps the best in quality and design among early Caucasian pieces.
An antique long Karabagh Runner with a monochrome overall drawing. The muted grey-black field complements the harmonious colour combination including shades of green, ivory, brown and terracotta, framed by a wide border.
In very well-preserved condition for everyday use, with a variety of gracefully aged vegetable dyed colours.
A stylish example with a balanced drawing to complement a wide variety of spaces. Rare in this long format.
