Antique Louis XVI style ormolu, marble and parquetry vitrine

Crafted in late 19th century France, this splendid vitrine features an elegant and intricate design.
Atop the piece rests a polychrome marble slab, providing an additional platform for displaying decorative objects. Much of the vitrine is beautifully adorned with fine parquetry. Three sides of the vitrine are fitted with large glass panels, offering an unobstructed view of the items within displayed on the two glass shelves.
A striking oval ormolu panel, showcasing a classical scene, is framed by delicate ribbon-tied laurel leaves, adding a touch of grandeur. The piece is further decorated with elegant ormolu borders, such as those on the frieze and framing the glass doors. Additional ornate ormolu detailing can be found along the edges and cabriole legs. Decorative motifs, including ribbon-tied fruits and musical instruments, add a layer of interest.
