Saturated dyes with stunning geometric motifs on this gorgeous tribal antique Moghan runner from the Caucasus and in the Trans-Caucasian region of North-West Persia. Dating from the late 19th century, the dyes are from the 1880-1890 period of weaving. With natural ivory wool, aubergine dyes, madder reds, deep indigo blues and beautiful greens. Moghan Kazak weavings will often use latch hook motifs and bold leaf designs. All of which can be seen on this exciting tribal runner.
