Object Description
A fine oil on canvas painting by Agnes Augusta Talboys (1863-1940/41) delightfully titled “Pussies in conference” signed lowe right and also Inscribed on a label verso, late 19th century in date.
The painting delightfully presents a litter of six Persian kittens on a Persian rug.
The artist used very vibrant colours to add some mystery to the scenery and contrast the vivid light in the back-ground.
Housed in its beautiful and original giltwood frame.

Agnes Augusta Talboys
Born in Bristol, she was elected as an associate of the Royal West Academy, she also exibited work at The Royal Society of Artists, she specitalised in painting cats especially persians.
