This is an exquisite and rare antique pair of English silver plated entree dishes, bearing the cross arrow mark of T & J Cresswick, Porter Street, Sheffield, circa 1820 in date.
They are of oval shape and feature delightful beaded rims, with engraved decoration, and lids that have equivalent superb ecorative handles.
In excellent condition, these wonderful entree dishes are ready to grace your dining table.
A truly exquisite pair that would make a fine addition to any antique collection.

Creswick & Co – formerly TJ & N Creswick of Sheffield. The “arrows” trademark was first registered in 1811 for Old Sheffield Plate production. The cross arrows trademark was later acquired by William Hutton & Sons in 1902. Electroplating began in 1852. The firm became Creswick & Co in 1855.
