Object Description
This beautiful pair of French Empire style open armchairs is made from the best quality mahogany timbers.
They are decorated with finely molded brass mounts in the form of crowns to the top.
The chairs have also been traditionally restored including cleaning and polishing and upholstering.
The seats and arm pads have recently been reupholstered in very attractive black/brown leather which coordinated beautifully with the wood.
The chairs are a generous size, with a well upholstered seat and very sturdy, offering a comfortable seat for a desk or office chair.
These striking antique chairs would make ideal desk chairs for an antique partners desk.
They could also of course also be used as office, library or occasional chairs.
