Object Description
This is a beautiful pair of antique gilt framed maritime oil on canvas paintings in the style of William Sadler, dating from the mid 19th Century.
Both paintings depict coastal scenes with fishing boats, passers by and fishermen mending their nets.
The artist has used a very delicate palette of colours and has succeeded in adding some mystery to the sceneand they are housed in their original and beautiful giltwood frames.
