Antique pair of French Neoclassical style gilt bronze and malachite candelabra

This fine pair of candelabra is wrought from gilt bronze and malachite in the Louis XVI style. Each candelabra features seven lights: six issuing from scrolling foliate branches, and one from a central stem topped with a removal flambeau finial. The candelabrum head of each is set above an urn-form stem, which is supported by four scrolled brackets. Each candelabrum features a gilt bronze mounted malachite base, raised on toupie feet.
