A rare pair of very beautiful antique Heriz rugs in excellent condition. Woven with great colours and a nice all over design, especially the geometric border design. The variation of colour makes them such an attractive pair of rugs. We have not seen a pair of antique Heriz rugs for a long time. Woven around circa 1900 they are in excellent condition. A great pair of rugs for either side of a bed or on wooden floors in a hall.
Heriz carpets and rugs are famous for their durability and are one of the toughest antique rugs due to the good quality wool that was used. They are still extremely popular today, whether in an 18th Century home with exposed beams or a modern home with contemporary furniture. Their warm colours and interesting designs make them an excellent compliment to any interior.
