A very unusual and good quality pair of silver gilt leather upholstered wing armchairs dating to circa 1880 -1900.
This decorative and rare pair of leather upholstered wing armchairs have been constructed in the William and Mary style. With domed backs and padded overstuffed arms supported by timber carved and silver gilt decorative scrolled supports being raised on carved cabriole front legs joined by a ribbon and scrolled open bracket and turned H frame stretcher.
Offered in excellent condition having been carefully restored whilst retaining their original silvered gilt work the chairs have been recently upholstered in a fine quality hand dyed brown/chestnut leather hyde.
A decorative and rare pair of wing chairs that will make a statement in any home or setting.
