Antique Persian Heriz Carpet Rug featuring an orange central field adorned with two detailed central medallions woven symmetrically in accents of blue cream, orange and green. Intricate motifs and animal designs have been woven in the surrounding field. This design is then enclosed with a rich multi-layered border with matching accent colours on a darker background. This antique Persian rug was handwoven by master weavers in Persia with handspun wool. All of the colours in this rug come from natural vegetable dying techniques.
