Shiraz carpets are a type of Persian rug made originally in villages around the city of Shiraz, in the Iranian province of Fars. Designs traditionally come from settled tribal weavers such as Qashqai, Afshar and Lori people. This piece has been woven with the finest organic materials including hand-spun wool and cotton. This has been dyed with organic vegetable dyeing techniques, used for generations.
