Object Description
A fine early 19th century Baltic Secretaire Cabinet, veneered throughout in flame mahogany, the upper section with a single central door, a gilt bronze plaque of Hermes, and six pointed stars, the roll top opening to a fitted interior of six drawers and a central mirrored recess with parquetry floor in luxurious woods, birds eye maple, Russian Ash, Mulberry, and burr walnut. Above three long drawers with later handles.
