Antique Persian Sarough is rather charming with a red and cream medallion in the centre, on a blue background. Representing typical Sarough design which can be searched in Kashan and Isfahan rugs. This rug is in excellent condition and can work in harmony within both modern or traditional decors. Perfect for use as a bedroom rug, living room rug or large entranceway rug.

Object History

This fine rug was handmade in the East part of Hamedan in central Iran, situated a town called Sarugh/Saruk where their rugs are known due to there beautifully intricate weave.
