Object Description
Circa 1780, Scottish George III mahogany serpentine fronted chest of drawers. The top with moulded fore-edge over a configuration of 3 short drawers with cock beading, cross-banding and boxwood inlay and 3 full length drawers, all with cast brass escutcheons and ribbed, fluted swan neck handles. Further crossbanding is beneath the bottom drawer, with a simple apron and standing on raised, French style bracket feet with C-scrolls.
