Object Description
Circa 1840, set of early Victorian rosewood chairs. The solid rosewood shaped and dipped back in the classic Victorian style, with well carved central rail and foliate carving throughout. The recently traditionally re-upholstered stuffover seats finished with fine gimp, over square, slightly outswept back legs and ring turned, tapering front legs.
