An antique cast iron canopy bath and shower by Shanks and Co. Made by iconic makers of its time, this Edwardian style bath has detailed ball and claw feet, accompanied by a large shower with glass screens and a nickel finish.
Those with wealth would have been the proud owners of this bath in England during the early 20th century. In the present day, it would make an elegant fit in a vintage main bathroom or ensuite of an Edwardian or Victorian property. It has shower, spray, plunge and wave functions.
Shanks & Co (1851-1992)
Shanks & Co Ltd, founded by John Shanks in partnership with his brother Andrew in 1851, quickly became an iconic British company.
