Object Description
A rare and unusual Sliver China trade, Mug which has a plain round body, sitting on a flat base.
The body is engraved with a delightful floral cartouche containing initials and the mug has a lovely faceted shaped cast handle which is most unusual.
The mug retains its original gilding and is in super condition.
It carries Pseudo marks for London 1814. The maker PB remains unknown but is shown in the specialist China trade reference works.
The mug is similar in form to a typical early George III London example.
