Object Description

An early George I tea caddy of shaped octagonal form with a detachable lid.
This very fine 300-year-old tea caddy was made in 1715 by Thomas Parr of London.
Dimensions: height 11.5 cm, base 7 x 4.5 cm; weight 4.8 troy oz.
