Object Description
A rare George II antique silver chamberstick of shaped form with bold shell borders and a cast shaped thumbpiece.
Mid-18th century chambersticks of shell form are quite rare, unlike their candlestick equivalents.
This chamberstick is a super example of good weight and condition by an interesting maker who died in the year this was made.
Dimensions: full width (from thumbpiece to side) 17 cm, diameter 14.7 cm; weight 11 troy oz.
