Object Description
A fine and large oval-shaped Georgian silver swing-handled sugar/sweet basket which stands on an ovate foot with reeded borders.
It has a gilded interior and one side bears a shield-shaped cartouche (which has never been engraved).
It is in excellent condition throughout.
Dimensions: height (to top of handle) 18.2 cm, length 15.9 cm, width 10 cm; weight 8.7 troy oz.
