Object Description
A rare and fine George III period antique silver chamberstick of oblong form, which has a gadroon border and is engraved with a family crest.
The size is most unusual as it is smaller than a regular chamberstick and much larger than a taperstick.
The chamberstick was made in London in 1818 by William Bateman and is in excellent condition.
Dimensions, length 12.7 cm, width over handle 11.7 cm, width 9.5 cm, height to top of nozzle 7 cm to top of snuffer 9.5 cm.
