Object Description
A charming small antique silver early George III inkstand which has a wonderful ‘Chinese Chippendale’ design, that was so fashionable in the early 1760s.
The inkstand still retains its original bottles.
There is a section for placing sealing wax between the bottles and a place to lay the pen.
It is fully marked on the underneath of the inkstand, which can be pulled out if needed and correctly hallmarked on both sides of the cage of the inkstand.
