Object Description

A superb late eighteenth century three bottle inkstand .
This Georgian inkstand is of a stylish octagonal shape with a fine reeded border and stands on four complementing reeded feet.
The bottle receivers,bottles and bottle tops are all octagonal in shape.
All the component parts (bottle tops,receivers and main body) are original and hallmarked.
In the well of the inkstand is engraved with a crest of a plume of ostrich feathers .
A lovely inkstand, in excellent condition by one of the most famous makers of the period.
Dimensions, length 20.25 cm, width 14 cm.
