Object Description
A rare antique silver snuffer tray which is oval-shaped with a beaded edge, together with two loop handles to each end.
The tray was originally to place snuffers or wick trimmers on it and would be perfect as a high class pen tray.
The snuffer is made by the famous lady silversmith, Hester Bateman. This is quite a rare item, as Bateman made few candlestick related items.
