Object Description
A lovely antique silver George III tea caddy which is oval-shaped with a wonderful pineapple finial and its original key.
It is engraved to the upper and lower part of the caddy, and has a contemporary family crest and owners initials engraved in a cartouche between two concentric bands.
The pineapple was a symbol of wealth and hospitality in 18th century England and the colonies.
